Benzalkonium Chloride (50% and 80%)
Benzalkonium Chloride 80% is a cationic surfactant with detergent and germicidal properties. Soluble in water, alcohol, and acetone, it is used as an antiseptic, spermicide, bactericide, and preservative. Its applications include disinfection of skin, surfaces, mucous membranes, and sterilization of instruments. It possesses the same properties as Benzalkonium Chloride 50%, but offers greater economy due to its higher concentration, allowing for smaller dosages compared to the 50% product.
